Gastric bypass works!

Today I am 2 days shy of being 6 months out from my gastric bypass. I had it done on december 4th. Everything went so smoothly. I was released the next day. Stayed in Augusta one more night and then came home. The day I came home I went and got our Christmas tree, put it up and even got it decorated. Aside from being sore, it was the easiest surgery I've had! I started off at 401 and today I am 279. Its been amazing. I can jog. I can walk around in the Georgia heat all day and Im fine with it. Yesterday I had a garage sale for 13 hours then drove out 30 minutes away to check on friends dog. I got up early today and went to the doggy carnival with my daughter and parked 15 minutes away and enjoyed the walk. These are things that I never could have done. I know weight loss surgery isnt for everyone, but it has saved my life! So here is a list as of today of things that have changed for me in the last 6 months:

-gone from 401lbs to 279
-gone from a tight 32w to a 22w. 4x shirts to 2x
-waist has gone from 64 inches to 48 inches
-blood pressure is now perfect
-blood sugar is now excellent
-sleep apnea is either greatly improved or gone
-can wash every aspect of my body without a struggle.
-can be comfortable in chair with arms.
-children describing me dont refer to me as "the big lady"
-looking for work. I couldnt physically be on my feet long enough to work before.
